Gregory Finch has nearly 30 years experience as a civil litigation attorney with an extensive background in law and motion matters crucial to the success of any civil litigation. He has conducted numerous civil trials both in State and Federal Courts, conducted administrative hearings, and filed appeals in State Appellate Courts and the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. Greg is also a skilled mediator and has successfully assisted clients in the resolution of disputes through mediation and arbitration. In the area of probate law, Greg represents estates of the deceased; securing guardianships and conservatorships, and litigating will and trust disputes. He provides his business clients with a full range of services including guidance in forming their company, handling employment and human resource issues, and litigating business disputes. Most recently, Greg recently received Senate confirmation and has been appointed by Governor Schwarzenegger to the Court Reporters Board of California.
Greg has a strong commitment to serving the needs of our community through active involvement and leadership of a number of organizations and service clubs including the Rotary Club of Sacramento, YMCA of Superior California, and the Medical Affairs and Community Benefit Committees of Sutter Hospital. He has also held leadership positions with Sierra Adoption Services, Active 20-30 Club, the Council of Service Clubs, and the Child and Family Institute. Recently, Greg completed a comprehensive course of study to obtain certification from the Association of Unity Churches as a Licensed Unity Teacher. He serves as one of the spiritual leaders of his church which includes organizing book and student groups, facilitating men’s groups and teaching classes, individually and with his wife Shirley.
